Grading

I generally grade on a flat, universal scale. In other words a speech that receives an "A" in one of my classes in a given semester would receive the same grade in any other class in any other semester. In other words, I don't grade on a curve.
In general, grades will be posted by the first class meeting of the following week. Unless there is a pressing need, please wait until that time before contacting me about when you grade will be posted.
When will my graded assignments be posted?
Honestly, the only thing you can really do is talk to me. I consider myself fair in my grading but it is extremely rare when I change a grade after it's posted. If you would like to go over my head, feel free, but understand that union contracts preclude college administrators from forcing a teacher to change a grade. In essence you're stuck with me.
What if I don't agree with or like a grade I received?
